Wacky xbox one controller support

I'm having trouble usign the xbox one controller (win10). Analog sticks are ignored, and the d-pad only detect left (I can't move on the right - not making this up)

Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

have you tried setting it up in the settings menu? to see if it perhaps as the wrong default values (due to driver difference, etc)

Tried many times. Seems like the joypad keys are not read. Perhaps the controller library is not correctly initialized? Xbox one controllers should be rather standard.

This problem is still happening for me, on several different controller types (dpad, xpad, xbox360).
