Black screen

When I start playing the game the screen goes black, when I pause it I can see it again but when I unpause it it goes back to black, please I need help

disable discord overlay

I disabled it and it still does that, anyone know any other fixes?

Along with turning off the overlay in Discord, you gotta kill it in task manager. Just open task manager and look for the grey-ish Discord logo, right click, and the select end task. I had the same problem as you, you just gotta kill it in Task Manager

Find the .exe file, click on Properties, Compatibility, then set it to run on WXP2

Yes I faced the same problem, but when I closed all Discord related tasks within task manager it finally worked. No more black screens
