Does BFII work on 64 bit Windows 7?

I used to love this game, and havent played it in a while, the $3 price is awesome, but I dont want to spend money on a game I can't play. Anyone know if this will work? Thanks!

dude it keeps crashing on me
i cant play it. i just bought it, my pc can crsis 3 on ultra... so idk why the ♥♥♥♥ this game is crashing i used to play it on my ps2.

Doesn't work for me either. Uninstalled it and installed it again, and doesn't work. After clicking on new game and after the Star Wars opening credits it crashes.

aparently u have to go to control panel, sound, recording tab, sound mixer, enable
or something like that anyway

You have to disable realtek audio

Sure does =) I also bought this when i saw it.. along with a few other games i'd previously had (old computer) and it brings back some great memories.. Go for it =)

disable sounds on your playback devices, then enable only the realtek digital output (using headphones or output similar). Should work then, some of these older games need work arounds

OP - i just bought the game and it runs fine on W& 64bit. I don't have any of the issues the others are talking about, not had to fiddle with the sound devices

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and Battlefront 2 works for me.
