I have Battlefront II on PS2, is the PC version worth spending my $10?
There is some pretty sick mods I have seen and also is there online multiplayer against people? Thanks.

the base game is just like the ps2 one.
the online for pc runs a lot better then the ps2.
i would say yes just for the online and mods

Is there still a multiplayer base for this game? I've always played it on the PS2 without multiplayer and would like to see what I missed out on.

same boat as sirogrif, i missed out on this one back in the day and i want to see what the fuss was about. still a somewhat decent multiplayer community?

It might be different because you won't be fueled by nostalgia. But of your interested in Star Wars though...

I used to play this back in the days of my PS2. I think the graphics are slightly better on PC and obviously online will be improved. Not many people played consoles online until the Xbox 360 so if you were like me who never put their PS2 online then you must buy this game. It's so much more fun to play this game online.

This game is really fun. I also used to play a lot on my PS2 and never played it online. Trust me. It's worth your $10

Cool. Extremely depressed that Disney closed LucasArts couple of days ago and were working on a FPS Star Wars game going to be Battlefront III.

You missed out, the multiplayer on PS2 was a pretty amazing thing. This plays just like the PS2 but i have yet to get a controller working with it. No matter how hard you try, a flying vehicle will always feel weird with mouse control.

I read on some other forums that battlefront 2 does not play on Windows 7, is that true? Does the Steam version work on Windows 7?

Yes, it is worth it for the nostalgia and online play. No, don't get your hopes up for the Mods. Even if you follow instructions to the letters, issues are likely. Possible even that nothing will work game wise.

I bought the fan favorites I pack (disc) and I don't regreat it. Regardless of the aming display bug & the fail unofficial patch install 1.3 I still enjoyed it.

ps. If anyone know how to unistall the v1.3 patch (r129) let me know please.
