Heroes in instant action

How do I stop heroes spawning in instant action? I've turned them of in the menu and set it to never respawn but they still come in regardless.

What exactly do you mean by "heroes spawning in"? Surely you have to press Accept to become a hero, they don't just appear.

I thought the only way to get heros to spawn on pc is to use a mod....

Check your addon folder op. As far as im aware if you have said mod the heros will still spawn even if you turn them off ingame menus,

You have to move the mod out of addon and store it somewhere or delete it.

But AI heroes don't usually spawn in. Normally only the player can be a hero.

yep no idea its pretty much impossible to get heros to spawn in unless you download a mod....

or play hero assualt on ground maps....

i play as heros in normal instant action all the time without hero assult, do you homework fool

Yes but the AI cannot be heroes unless playing Hero Assault. Heroes cannot spawn in unless the player chooses for them to, so I can't see how this is a problem.

i wasnt denying that at all i know thats the only way for a AI to be a hero , but he was saying that a player cant be a hero at all unless hero assult

At no point did i ever say that the player could not spawn in as a hero. Woah there buddy. I assumed we were talking ai here. The context of spawn is was me reffering to ai even if i didnt make that clear in my post someone else in the thread easily knew what i was talking about.

Again i assumed the context of the problem was the an AI thing.

Im glad someone else in this thread knew what context I was posting in. sheesh. You must got a load on your plate throwing the ol "do your homework fool"

Christ i used to be a member of the moding communtiy in this game, i have made 2 mods by myself and helped in over a dozen.

To back my assumption up usally when you turn heros off they dont allow you to play as heros
the only instance i could think of the heros spawning in with the hero option tunred off is the aiherosupportmodv1_3 mod. Ai heros will spawn in even if you dont allow them in the options.
