Tantive IV-Stolen Plans friggin impossible?

I have followed some advice I saw on a forum. When Vader is available I use hime until the part where we have to clear out the remaining rebels in the escape pod bay and get Princes Leia. Out of reserves=fail every time. It's starting to get a little stupid. I would use a cheat if there were camaign cheats and then turn it off just to get past this but I don't like using them and there are no campaign cheats. Playing on Normal difficulty, fyi.

Any advice?

if u have 1.3 patch for mods, it comes with a thing in the pause menu called fake console, inside fake console u can see another things called code console, if reinforcements are a problem, type in code console this command AddReinforcements(IMP, 100) of course the 100 can be anything like from 0 to 999999999

That mission's really tough, and it took me more tries than any of the others in the game. You're doing the biggest thing right, which is using Vader -- I'd guess the mission is just about impossible without him. It's all about optimizing going from one objective to another, and destroying them as quickly as possible. You have to always know where you're going next, too; it can be easy to get lost on the ship, but if you do that takes up too much time. Finally, don't stop and fight anyone that you don't have to. In the last part of the mission especially, concentrate everything on taking out Leia, and ignore the grunts as much as you can. There were more than a couple of times when I failed the mission because I picked a fight with some random soldiers instead of getting to the objective.

Hope this helps. Even when I did it, it was just barely; you might have a great run and still come up just short. The good news is that this is where the campaign pretty much peaks as far as difficulty. I don't think any of the later missions are as unforgiving as this one.

Beware of Leia's one-hit-kill sniper pistol. That damsel is not in much distress.
