Upgrades

I remember the game having upgrades that at one point are given to you. Does anyone know when and how those upgrades are a given at the start of the match?

Click on the Career tab, then click on the medals to view their descriptions on how to obtain them.

I believe Elite status makes it so you only need to do the requirements by half while Legendary you automatically spawn with it.

So Legendary it is. I knew there was the possibility to spawn with it, but thus far I haven't got any of the weapon upgrades, even though the career stats say that I've reached them.

You need to switch the weapon when you get them. So say you shoot the required enemies for the Elite Rifle, when it says that in the left hand corner you need to quickly switch to your Blaster Pistol, then back to the rifle which will now be the Elite Rifle.

Ive tried it a couple of times but thusfar I haven't got the upgraded weapon

I don't think this might be it, but want rank do you have next to the awards? If it's Green then that means you won't get it until Veteran, 0-3 is Green and 4-31 is Veteran where you can then earn the award, however I don't believe that might be it since you did mention you saw that you earned them in your stats and 4 times to get an award is pretty easy to obtain so I'm unsure other than maybe a mod might be conflicting it and it couldn't be the 1.3 patch as all you can do with the awards is turn the graphics for certain awards, like Endurance, off.

I've looked it up and indeed, when green you don't get the reward. I don't have any mods installed so I'll just crank 'm all up to 64 (legendary) so that I won't have to stay alive to get them anymore.

Also, I'd like to note that when you change classes, while you're alive, and switch back, to lets say the clone trooper. You default back, but you just switch your weapon again and you'll get the Elite Rifle
