Game Ranger: "Please Wait Until Steam Has Finished Launching"

Hi everyone:

When ever I try to join a battlefront 2 server, Game Ranger Pops Up With The Message :"Please Wait Until Steam Has Finished Launching"

I tryed joining a server with batttlefront 2 open, closed, steam closed, steam opened.

I don't know what to do! Thank you

try to:

launch Steam
once fully launched then launch GameRanger
once launched then go to the top right left corner and go to options > game and see if the path is correct (which leads to your BattlefrontII.exe the ORIGINAL one which is 4,884GB or so,something like that,not entirely sure.)

That guide confused me greatly. What Path? Top Left Right Corner?

path to the game. you go to gameranger and you click on: EDIT. then you click on OPTIONS. then you click on GAMES and you see a list of the supported games by GameRanger. you scroll down and find SWBF2. you then click BROWSE at your right side and look for your BATTLEFRONTII.EXE and click it and it will be set as your game path.

I clicked on the BATTLEFRONTII, what do I do now? Open? Since I did that and it didn't work for me.

ummm no in gameranger when you choose that file to be your game path in options you then go to a server and join and then in game click join again

Alright guys. There is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solution ive been searching for many hours..
So everything you gotta do is go to
program files x86/steam/steamapps/common/STAR WARS battlefront 2/ gamedata
There you should see battlefront 2 app. Go ahead and create a shortcut from your desktop. Then delete the original one, steam has created for you. Open GameRanger, go to options,
find battlefront 2, tap browse and go to
program files x86/steam/steamapps/common/STAR WARS battlefront 2/ gamedata and select battlefront 2 app
select server, tap join and it should all work fine.
