No cd
Well I had bought this came on the disk many years ago, I have installed the 1.1 international cd patch but now it keeps saying I have to insert the originel disc despite the fact it's already in my pc. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

this may help:

the original exe file i uploaded recently.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/v2zglp5w4cmc38d/BattlefrontII.exe%20(ORIGINAL%20EXE%20FILE)?dl=0

if you are using gameranger to play online you need the original exe file which is on that download link.
if you are using gamemaster to play online you need the gamemaster patch file

with both of them you need the following:
Data folder
Binkw32.dll
Eax.dll
Unicows.dll

if you don't have these you can get them online on a torrent site or buy the game.

another thing:

it may also be possible that you may have the wrong patch file.
where is it saying that?
which multiplayer option are you using?

Thank you for your time trying helping me , I've tried to patches and both got me the same error messages. The disc I've bought is very old however it's a legit disc. I am trying to launch through gameranger. I will try if the .exe file will resolve the issue, thanks allot and I will keep in tough if the problem is solved or not ;).

I copied your file and pasted into the map but nothing happens still keep getting the same error code, I also tried running it but it insn't an .exe file.

It is a .exe, rename it to BattlefrontII.exe and put it in your GameData folder.

it is an exe file. rename it as Lelygax said.
make sure it is in the same folder as the other things
(if you plan on playing on GameRanger)

for GameMaster download the patch here
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tvjg8rgyg2lxuhi/AADai1jcyHPN1WH0CLLFIitBa/BattlefrontII_client_english_US.exe?dl=0

you add this with the other things on a separate GameData folder.
if you choose to use both multiplayer functions.

Greetings everyone,
sorry for the necropost but I have the same problem. I have the CD version of the game on Windows 10.
Version 1.0 works perfectly (as long as you play with a microphone pluged), but since I installed the 1.1 patch it keeps asking me "Insert the CD".
I followed the steps of this post, but it doesn't change anything.
I installed the international version of the patch 1.1 (I have the french version).
Thank you for your help,
