You don't need the CDkey as it was only for MP which doesn't exist officially anymore as Gamespy was shut down, the only way to play MP is through third party either using Gamemaster or Gameranger.

you can find many keys on google.
because of the shutdown they all should work fine.
i know someone who can put any keys he likes (such as: "star wars rocks" or whatever) and it works fine...
