-nosound
Battlefront 2 absolutely hates AMD hardware and 100% of all AMD systems I've used required me to run the game with -nosound or it didn't work at all.
That's it, I have no more ideas. Best of luck.
The vidmode.ini must be a disc version problem, I just forgot about it until now.
Alternatively, install Linux Mint. I can confirm that Battlefront 2 works flawlessly through Proton.

Windows 10 iot LTSC 21H2 ends support in 2032.
Apps will still be working for a long time. I still have a Windows 7 laptop and Steam still works (some games don't work because of useless launchers).
