Remaster causing black screen

Hey does anyone else have the remaster mod causing black screens on start up and do you know how to fix it? Thx

Do you have discord open? if yes that is the issue 99% of the time.

Did you get this resolved? I am having the exact same issue. Mine worked flawlessly for one play session, but now I get a blip of the loading screen before it goes to black

go to DIscord setting and turn off overlay, old games don't mix well with it.
Let me know if it resolved your issue

I totally reinstalled and it seems to work now.

I'd already done that, once I reinstalled the whole lot that seemed to fix it.

Same thing happened to me. However this started with a shaderpatch by Sleepy. That shaderpatch worked for like 3 weeks then one day out of no where mid game it gave me a black screen and crashed. When reloading the game it would show the star wars battlefront 2 icon then immediately go to black screen and never load. I had to completely reinstall the game several times after failure everytime with any form of remaster mod i try to install. All this for me started with that shaderpatch. If anyone has found a fix. I would hope they share. because it has nothing to do with the discord overlay. I tested that 5 times

turn off discord overlay, and reinstall. if that still doesnt work, lower your brightness and contrast a few times, that seemed to work for me.
