Yeah, that's how the game's aiming works, it requires a bit of precision. It's not super hard to get used to.

I believe Sniper is immune to it, as well as Leia and a few others.

Agreed with Flareon, it's best not to rely on the reticule too much, just use it as a reference point and memorize where the lasers are going. It's a piece of cake after a while.

I believe that this is a problem with playing in widescreen as far as I can tell. I also find that playing in first person mode solves this issue as well.
Be engi and just spam your shots without aiming.

Majority of the game's weapons spreadshot at one point. It depends on the distance of your target. Even the sniper has issues. If you want to see the reticule fail miserably, go into the scope on the beam rifle.

well the spreads not the issue the issue for me at least is that the reticule is firing just below the top tri pron for the reticle.

The reticule is off for sure, the best thing to do is just use it as a reference. Fire in the general direction of your target and readjust.

There's definitely a spread, fire anything for a prolonged period and you'll see a huge cone of fire.

yep that fixes it, many thanks

1280X800. My monitor is a 16:9

I have a similar problem, only my entire screen is slid about an inch to the right. there's a black bar on one side, and on the other side, half of my mini-map is cut off (as well as the meter that tells you how close you are to capturing a base). Does anybody know any solutions? Also worth noting, this only happens when I'm playing an actual game, in menus it's not a problem.

Oh, come on. Are there no fixes for this even still? Are no parameters in an .INI file somewhere that we can change to raise/lower the target reticule/crosshair?
The aiming in this game is frustratingly off, and i'ts sad because it wasn't like this when the game was released.
And there is no way I am playing it in a 4:3 resolution.
