Is there no one online?

I keep wanting to shoot people online. Dont we all? But when I go to play online I get a list of 20 servers and none read as having anyone in them. Is this just me or is this an error?

There is still multiplayer, just through third-party services such as GameRanger and GameMaster.

Not through the Steam servers if that's what you're asking. If both of are on GameRanger and get on the same server as an example though, then yes. You can play online.

you can play using GameMaster,GameRanger and Tunngle.

Tunngle being the most dead.

yep. plenty of people still play this game, just using a different service besides gamespy (which had shut down)

i'd recommend you try out gameranger; which is easily accesible through a google search

Game ranger is best imo . 40+ people online in dedicated server right now all you need is install game ranger and should auto find battlefront 2 for you so then jsut click my games tab, then players so shows rooms with most players in it. bout join the dedicated server now :D WOOO online play :D love battlefront 2

But GameRanger can't run with steam overlay, so it's ♥♥♥♥, I run with .exe modify on gamemaster and work with steam launch :)

Online multiplayer works using GR.
Gameranger can indeed run the Steam version of SWBF 2, it is compatible. Sometimes you'll get an error that says "wating for steam to launch", but restaring steam, gameranger and/or your computer will fix that.
