Crashing With Mod Installed

I just downloaded and installed this game, along with the Conversion Pack and the most recent patch. Whenever I try to load up an Instant Action map, even if I don't use any of the modded stuff, the game crashes. Campaign is also messed up as well. Help please.

if it keeps crashing then uninstall and reinstall the mod(s) and make sure you have the 1.3 patch file.

My friends! I have the answer! You have to download the conversion pack 2.0 first and then 2.2. Install them both and then you are good.

yup. that also. but mods + the 1.3 patch must also be properly installed.

Follow instructions carefully as most mods have a readme, and some mods do not work under very specific technical reasons that is beyond my knowledge.

Not all mods are legit and compatable with later versions of windows, there is always that too.

Also mods can conflict with eachother if they use similar codes that contradict one another in a way that makes them unusable together.

Many mods have dependancies (meaning they require/depend on other mods to function properly.)

do you have a link to that patch? is there an updated version i have the 2.0 and 2.2 patch

For the conversion pack? Those are the versions. The links to them are also on my guide.

if i move all mods into trash bin, instal 1.3 patch and restore mods it would help?

-IGF-SueKrueger13 I'm having an issue where a map I am making will run in the no CD version launcher from the bf2 modtools but it will get stuck in the loading screen then crash in the main game. I have no other mods installed and after i tried several different methods and looked to see info did anything wrong in the map building I installed the 1.3 patch and it still doesn't work. I haven't been able to locate in the guides what I need to be looking at to fix this sort of issue with my map. Can you point me in the right direction or help me fix it?
