Why, does the 80fps a big problem?????? It is running with 60 fps for me smooth

Do you have a 120Hz monitor or something? If not, then don't worry about it, as you most likely have a 60Hz monitor, which means your monitor will only output 60FPS anyway.

Indeed, I have a 120Hz monitor.

Then I have no idea buddy, it's an old game, I think uncapping it (if possible) may cause problems. Have you tried turning V-sync on?

Vsycnc caps the fps. With 120Hz monitor with vsycn on you can get the next frame rates: 120fps, 60 fps, 30fps, 15fps, 5fps, 1fps

Vsync is supposed to cap the FPS to the refresh rate of your monitor. So I would think that perhaps turning V-SYNC on would force it up to 120.

But it forces it to 120-60-30-15-5-1 fps depending on the game, with vsycn on these framerates you can get

Hate to bump an old thread, but I want to point out that the first Star Wars Battlefront (which is on the exact same engine) had no framerate cap, and from what I've played had no problem when running at 200-400FPS.
This suspects me that any mod that overrides SWBF2's 80FPS cap shouldn't have many problems, especially considering that I haven't seen any issue when running the game at a lower framerate.
