My teenhood computer of a dual-core amd-something or another processor, 4gb ram, and spinning disk drive can run this game, that laptop can smash it out of the park.
And interestingly the graphics are extremely good, considering the minimum pc requirments it needed and the game was not taking up too much disk space either for the time.
If only games today would work like this one did. It has only four massive flaws:
-You cannot go prone, like in the first one
-Not all maps were recreated
-No ground spacecraft
AND THE BIGGEST ONE OF ALL:
-Massive amounts of bugs...
From what I am seeing, everything checks out, save for the graphics card, which may not be able to handle it. (talking about EA Battlefront)
Now I have heard about people playing games, while not having the minimum specs (myself included), but those were all either less ram or less powerful cpu-s.
To be frank I do not know, what your graphics card can do, but if I was forced to wager, I would say it would not be able to run the game... or even if it ran you would have severe laggs.
In any case, I would avoid playing on laptops, only do that if you really are out of options. Gaming is better for pc-s. You can have better view on larger monitors, keyboard + mouse is normally better on pc too. And laptops are not really built for long gaming sessions, which may wear down your laptop, which you will more, than likely need to keep charging, which again wears down your battery.
Of course all of this comes down on how long do you plan to keep your laptop in good shape, if only say 2-3 years, then ignore my comment(s).
