Space Battle - Transport Ship

Okay, so it's been the better part of a decade since I've played this game and man, did I miss it but . . .

Everytime I play a space battle I can't get any transport ships to spawn. I mean one spawns at the beginning of the match, but that's it. How can I make these spawn? Thanks for any help.

only one can be in game at a time, so don't let the ai grab it and just aimlessly fly around in it lol

Thanks, I'll keep the IQ-less AI out of my transports.

You might just have to go out and shoot it down yourself.

annoyingly, the game tell you that the enemy is going to aboard your ship but the AI is not programed to do that.
