How to bypass unlocking heroes

I was wondering if there was a mod or anyway i can bypass having to unlock these heroes like when im playing tantive i want to play as darth vader i dont want to have to play as a storm trooper to get enough points to unlock vader

I'm assuming your talking about instant action. Go into the hero options and set hero respawn to 0, and points to 1. That should do it.

If you install the unofficial 1.3 patch, you can go to the pause menu and select "fake console" and scroll down to something like "unlock hero team 1" (i forgot what exactly it is) to instantly unlock the hero.

you put it to the lowest (possibly time limit) then I believe you hit accept

Really? It takes me like not even 10 seconds against the AI before the game yells for me to play a Hero.
