thats why the only worthwhile SW games are the KotOR RPGs...
What? This is the first thing I posted for about a week on this forum. It's also the first time I've ever met you. How could you know if I wanted to argue with you or not? Oh that's right, having a different opinion means you're a troll or someone who wants to argue. Ah yes, god forbid mods in singleplayer to enhance the game in one way or another. Sure some mods work for multiplayer, but most are created at first for the intention of singleplayer. If only there was only one Battlefront game that is mod friendly, but alas there isn't. We all know no one wants a campaign or singleplayer in SW games right? SW isn't about story at all, just how many characters you can fit in the screen at once.
Being 27 and having played a bunch of games before there ever was Online Progression or hell any kind of progression at all. I sir have to say all of you are being useless. Star Wars Battle for Naboo was a fun game, and when it was released it was the most polished star wars game there was. Jedi Power Battles was also a very good game for the time, being a PS1 game and all. Episode One Racer had to be one of the funnest arcade games ever and it felt like F Zero.
And those are old as ♥♥♥♥.
Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 were powerhouse games when they came out stayed at 50 Bucks forever. EA's Battlefront may be new, but at the time, these games were king. Without the SWBF hype The Force Unleashed would have never existed, because Pandemic Studios did a lot of grunt work for SWBF which gave LucasArts the time to create those masterpieces. At that time too everyone was being forced to port high end PC games to the Xbox and such. (Far Cry, that custom Unreal Tournament Game). So SWBF had to be compatible with even the lowest of the lowend systems like the Xbox at the time. Thats why it was simple to port this over to the PSP.
All in all SWBF aint ♥♥♥♥, it was built in a time when people werent ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and didnt need online progression to prove whos boss. You had to go to your buddies house. Now everyone stays up late and stays home to prove their the best? Using whatever equipment theyve bought and whatever hacks they may have under their sleeve? Back then your equipment was the same, a controller. You didnt have to buy the best mouse or best keyboard or best screen or whatever. Just had to sit and play. So i say get a Refund for your copy of SWBF 2 and never think of anything ever created by Pandemic Studios, wait for the next college grad to spearhead a project and ruin your next series. Because you sir, are not part of the generation who played or plays this game.
LAN Parties for life! Took two days to clean all the soda from my garage after my first Halo 2 Lan Party. God, good times.
