Cannot use Gameranger after a Windows 10 update...
So I have been playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the past 2 months using Gameranger and it's been a wonderful blast and at that time I didn't run into any issues at all with Winddows 10... until Microsoft decided to ruin my life yet again. So after playing an online match I decided to turn off my computer and saw that it needed to update, so I left it updating through the night. Then I decided to play a match in the morning and found out that after Gameranger lauches the game it will freeze a couple times trying to display the profile selection menu and it will stay frozen after fully displaying the menu, not even the cursor pops out, and the game doesn't go to the LAN selection. All I can do is press f4 on my ideapad 300 which will force the game to close. I haven't been able to play for a while and I don't know what the update did to my computer to brake Gameranger with SW BF 2. Now I'm stuck here as I don't have a clue as to what do!

Also, the game just runs totally fine if I lauch it normally through my destop shortcut and steam.

Oh and by the way, my apologies for my terrible english...

I don't use Win10, but in things like Win7, you must set the program to "always" run as Administrator. This is different than just selecting the run-once command, "Run as Administrator." In Win7, and I hope the process is similar in Win10, select the .exe file and Right-Click on it. Go to Properties. Go to the Compatibility tabe. Check the "Run Program as Administrator" box. Confirm.

From that point on, every time the exe is called, it will run in Administrator mode. If you simply select the "Run as Administrator" option in the Right Click menu, it will only run during that session in Admin mode.
