Can you complete the campaign without dying?

So I have memories of playing this game and dying over and over...I want to play the campaign again, is it a grinding war of attrition or can you actually complete the missions with no deaths if you play smart? Going back into hangers and heal points to heal ect

Spawning as a hero doesn't count as a death, but it does put you on a timer on your life, which will kill you unless you're constantly killing your enemies.

interesting. I loved this game as a kid but have forgotten the mechanics lol. People say it's easy so I'm seeing if it's possible to do a self imposed iron man run

I played the Game as A Kid then at 13 or so I stopped and just after 19 I picked it up again because of the Steam Offers to Star Wars Games

You could do a "one life per class" run, you get the added difficulty of needing to unlock the hero and specials to get extra lives
