Only Resolution available is 800 x 600

Hello everyone, its been about a month since ive last played SWBF2, and starting up the game yesterday I noticed that for some reason my game is now locked to 800 x 600 resolution. When I say locked, I mean that 800 x 600 is literally the only option I am given in the video settings, nothing else shows up.

Last time I played the game it was perfectly normal at 1080p. I have both the shader patch and 1.3 installed, but have not updated them or added any new mods since playing last time at normal resolution. I dont see how adding another mod is going to fix anything when it was already working fine before. Only thing I can think of is possibly a windows update messing with my resolution, but that might be a long shot.

Appreciate any help I can get! If i cant get this fixed soon I will probably try reinstalling and see if that changes anything.

upgrade to the v1.5 r2 remastered mod, this comes with some resolution fixes

after you install that, put -resolution 1920 1080 in your launch options (or other numbers if you prefer) and the game will be forced in that resolution

you can force the resolution that way without the mod, but the mod is required or else everything is visually broken

Thanks for the reply! I tried installing the v1.5 remastered mod, and it did not fix my issue. Ended up going for a full reinstall instead.

The reinstall fixed it, but now I’m going to have to mess around with the shader patch to fix everything again.

Before the menus were fine and the game was messed up. Now the game is fine and the menus are absolutely destroyed.
