Ps5 controller setting up help

I remember playing hours and hours on it back in the days on my ps2
Now I got it on my pc and want to play with an Ps5 controller I ordered anyone can help me
How to set it up please

Steam>settings>controller>general controller configuration>enable playstation support

then boot up the game and go into the controls, you'll have to manually bind each
button to whatever action you want.

I tried doing this on my Xbox one controller but gave up. You have to manually assign all of the controls. You don't have to do that with the original battlefront however, so that would be an easier choice.

it's not that much work. takes about 3-5 mins.

But for some reason now
When I’m standing steel the character going backwards for no reason
Anyone know how to fix it?

turn up the sticks "deadzone" in ether the game or in STEAMS controller config settings.

Hi, this isn't working for me with my PS5 controller. I have playstation controller support on in steam, and it recognizes it as a playstation controller, but it isn't allowing me to bind controls at all. almost like it can;t read controller input. Has anyone else encountered this?
