Black Screen When Selecting The Pilot in swbf3 legacy

Whenever I load one of the Battlefront 3 maps from the mod the screen will go black once I select the pilot. Is there any way to fix this?

turn off discord overlay, it bugs out when you reach the spawn and character select menu
