Weapon bonuses
I was wondering what your thoughts on the various weapon upgrades were?

There are:
1. Elite rifle.
2. Precision pistol.
3. Fletchette shotgun.
4. Beam rifle.
5. Guided rocket launcher.

The elite rifle seems awesome. It fires 3 rapid fire shots in quick succession and takes down pretty any player in a single burst (if aimed well) other than Wookies and Droidekas with their shield still up. Probably the most useful upgrade.

The precision pistol is OK. It's mostly useful because the pistol it replaces is pretty naff. The PP is more capable of taking people out quickly, with the downside that now all your weapons are limited ammo. Worth it because I have never run out of ammo for it.

I really don't see the benefit of the fletchette shotgun. Maybe someone can enlighten me, but it seems to not be much more powerful than the standard while running out of ammo quicker. It's the only weapon that I've repeatedly run out of ammo for in a fight.

The beam rifle again, doesn't seem to much different to the basic sniper rifle?

I'll be honest, I've never actually got a Demolitionist medal, let alone got to use this weapon. Is it any good?

What are your impressions of the weapon upgrades? Which are worth getting Legendary on, and which aren't?

Elite Rifle DECIMATES in a corridor where you can B-d-d-d-p *turn* B-d-d-d-p *turn*.
Like that thing murders.

The PP (besides opening the door for G-rated Sex jokes), is actually fun, if your good as Leia, or Han, then its kind of like getting Leias pistol for a quick bust.

Flechete is basically turning you into Ash from Evil Dead, the uh, Army of Darkness edition. You required to say "THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK" When obtaining it. Look i don't make the rules.

Beam Rifle is probably useless if you actually managed to get it, considering theres like 2 enemies in the game (Wookie, and Droideka) that Don't die to a headshot in one hit anyway. Me thinks.

The guided rockets are pretty gimmicky. But can be OODLES Fun to launch down a hallway. No really. try it. one time. Send it down a Hoth hallway and tell me its not hilarious to see everyone just stop and look. because the will.

Was any of this useful? probably not. But I hope it was at least mildly entertaining.

The weapon bonuses are the best and are more powerful.

The rifle can get multiple kills. Very handy if you're defending the last CP in conquest and the team has no 1 on the scoreboard (you and no ai).

The pistol is very good if you're playing as a hero, or villain. Or if you run out of ammo.

The shotgun packs more of a punch. If you're playing CTF, i'd recommend this weapon.

The sniper is boss. Other then the 2 enemies listed above, you can basically 1 shot everyone. The regular sniper takes about 2 shots for most enemies if you don't headshot.

As for the rockets, it's fun. Sure, you're exposed to damage (your character is). But you can go through the map. Try to rocket an enemy from across the map.

Get them all. All you have do is switch weapons twice and it's equipped everytime. Even in conquest, you'll have them. Not sure about the campaign though.
