Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)

controller support?
I know it's partially supported, and if i go through every single setting I can almost make it work with my controller, the problem is that my character is constantly moving and the movements that require the same joystick arent possible; I.e Rolling and throttling while flying. does anyone know if they is a mod or perhaps another fix to allow full support?

Adjust the controller "Dead Zone" setting in controls for each profile to stop unwanted movement. The dead zone setting makes the controller stop inputting when the stick is in the center-most position when it is set up correctly. If you have to push the stick too far to get the controller to respond, the dead zone setting is too high.

As for the other concerns, you can set the throttle and roll to the y and x axis of one of your controller's sticks and you can input them simultaneously that way. Look for the roll axis and throttle axis specifically in the control settings. The other settings for roll right and roll left, for example, are there for the keyboard settings.

Personally, being able to fully customize the controller's input in the game is one of the parts I like. It looks complicated at first, but you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.
