DICE vs Pandemic - Which is better?
https://youtu.be/hIJsnr65_4c

Created a full analysis comparing various aspects including visuals, gameplay, sound, etc.

I still have a soft spot for the original game, but what do you guys think? Has DICE's version started to win you over?

pademic had one year for battlefront 2, and created a memerable story. dice/ea put out a game two years after the first one, with the intent of a live service, not a game. pademic had one shot with og. Dice has relied on updates to complete an unfinished game and has taken two years to get to where they are now.

The pandemic vs dice debate has been done to death at this point and it has grown tiresome

Pandemic, I just don't like EA with there business practices and the fact that it took them awhile for the new battlefront to get good.

Pandemic, period. They only had a short time and even RUSHED battlefront 2 for ROTS on DVD release and they still managed to make the game have all the content it has, meanwhile DICE had much more time and money to make a great game, but instead we got a game that was a mess and unfinished, a game with so much controversy and you have to pay for extra content. Meanwhile Pandemic gave us a full game with no problems, and they even provided free DLC. Isn't it clear who is the better developer?

I'm more interested in singleplayer and in that regard Pandemic's Battlefront 2 is superior, no contest. The newer Battlefront has a horrible campaign mode, no Galactic Conquest and singleplayer maps are limited. They only just now added a few Galactic Assault maps in singleplayer, but even so, there is no Capital Supermacy in singleplayer and many of the space maps are still multiplayer only.

The only thing the new Battlefront has going for it, is graphics. Far as Im concerned, it's still just Battlefield in space.

Agreed, except battlefield's maps, even the newer games, are more open-ended. Really don't like the strict linear nature of the new battlefront maps. I also prefer pandemic's focus on offline content. Hate not being able to play the big epic battles like "Crait" unless I randomly matchmake into it.
