Lan Multiplayer Not Working!!!

I have been playing this game with a friend of mine since before the latest update, and had to use a Lan cable (obviously). But since the update, everytime we try and connect via Lan Cable, it will crash the game for whoever is connecting. I have tried everything. Uninstall mods, uninstalling/reinstalling both games, starting up in offline mode, verifying game files. Naturally I have tried using the online multiplayer, but even though we are on the same internet network, they get a 150+ ping while I stay at 40, and they still crash. If there is anyway to fix this that would be great. I assume I have to wait for GOG to fix the issues, but if there is something I'm missing, I would love to hear it.

I am also curious about the LAN multiplayer. Last time I attempted, my friend couldn't see my pc server I started up. Does LAN no longer work as intended because of the GoG patch?

The only time that happened to me is when the login profile said it's not connected at all, and then it doesn't even give an option to switch between Internet servers and Lan servers like normal when trying to join. I found restarting the game fixes that but it still crashes when trying to join. Sometimes it even crashes the other computers game when I start a Lan server, but don't try and connect to the server (if the makes sense).

I've had this as well, dont know what the point is when the official multiplayer is laggy as hell, and the lan multiplaye crashes now. I got exited when they said they were fixing the online, but now they've just disabled my ability to actually play funtional multiplayer

Hey Sue, can you set up a steam group for SWBFSPY? A lot of times I go on and no one is on. I think that we need some social networking going on to get more people to log on more.
