Multiplayer not working.
I can't get this game's multiplayer to work. I've tried every fix I find, but to no avail. No matter what, I get stuck at the server browser screen, and nothing shows up when I click Refresh. Can anyone help? Here's a screenshot for reference.

Did you try to verify file integrity?

Many times. I've erased all game data, redownloaded the game and verified integrity twice. Verifying integrity was the first thing I tried. It doesn't help.

Im also having the same trouble getting in a mp game, loads out, times out. Even refreshing the screen at times gives an error message

I've never been able to even join a game. Nothing ever shows up in the browser, and I can't invite friends when I try to create a server.

Same here man got the same problems, was looking foward to playing old school SWBF2.

Ha! Maybe it's just me, but smell a conspiracy.... (cough.. EA..cough..cough..) multiplayer was sweet on gameranger... just say'n....

I think the revival of Multiplayer for the classic version was an "elaborate" ruse. Dangle notsalgia in front of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face will ya EA? Then yank it away thinking that maybe I can recatpure that feeling if I just buy the new game? ♥♥♥♥ you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

It works for some people, apparently. I wouldn't jump to conspiracies.

Problem is in your Steam nickname, it has too much symbols which 12 years old game does not support, so that's why you cannot login into Galaxy account.

Nah man... that can't be it. I know the the concpiracy thing is a bit far fetched like I mentioned. But the hell, when a new BF game comes to the scene then instantly the legacy version of the same title is picked up again by the same distributer(?), and then the multiplayer is unplayable. Coincidence?... Again, just speculating. Like I said before, the mp ran fine on gameranger. I'm cool if I'm corrected, 'cause i'd rather be wrong then not be able to play a "classic" as it has been sub titled

They've been working on fixing it for months now, and whether you are right or wrong will depend on if it ever gets fully fixed. I can't be asked to properly debate with conspiracy theory people

That actually was the problem. I changed my nickname and it worked.
