Won't Launch on Windows 10 [FIX]
Go to All Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Versions[www.itechtics.com] and download all of them.
I don't know which exact ones you need (probably just the 2005 versions), but you need both the 64 bit and the 32 bit off the website. The download links are near the bottom and are obvious once you find them.

Steam normally downloads it for you when you install the game if you don't already have it

True, but I had a very interesting circumstance and no longer had them. Which in turn prevented me from playing the game.

Yes, and I did. So what I'm saying is if the game isn't working you may be missing one of these software programs. I provided a link where you can go and get all of the programs because Microsoft no longer provides them on their website.

Yeah I forgot this thread still existed, but I did the same and it worked.

i just got the game on black friday and i was having the same problem, wouldnt launch.
