Black Bars around screen
I just got a new computer and im trying to run BF2 on it but the loading screen and menu are running at 800 x 600 with big black bars around the sides. When i load a match however, the screen returns to the correct size. Anyone know how to fix this issue on Windows 10?

Try setting your re-fresh rate to 75Hz or so. That works for me. I don't see anyway to do it in the game so I just set it from the "Display" control panel.
(select "Advenced Settings")
This will also set it for all other programs that don't specifically the re-fresh rate it something else.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've attempted to do what you said but nothing hs changed. This is happening to all the games i own on here. I've tried running the game in compatitbility mode but nothing works.

It could have something to do with Nvidia GTX?

Menu does not support widescreen however ingame does

Strange. On my old laptop it would run the menu and in-game at full screen on Windows 10

Yeah but you can download starwars battle front hd from gtanakin it makes the menu fullscreen on widescreens
