Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)

Weird square after zooming?
Everytime I zoom with a scope, this weird square appears in the top left of my screen which takes up about 75% of my screen vertically and 40% horizontally. It looks to be a copy of whatever I'm seeing, just at a different size and layered on top of my screen. It's relatively see-through but still incredibly annoying. It shows what I'm looking at while I'm zoomed, and when I unzoom, the picture of what I was zoomed on remains. The only way I've observed so far to get rid of it is by alt/tab-ing out and back in. Turning off light bloom helps but doesn't make it go away entirely.

I noticed the same thing. What I did was just avoided using scoped weapons (and only playing in 3rd person). I'm currently trying other options, so if I find something I'll post it here.

None yet unfortunately. I've been doing the same preventative measure as Alex and avoided scopes altogether, which kinda sucks because I also like playing scouts.

Yeah i was kinda hoping it would be like the black screen issue where everyone would know what it was and how to fix it, hell maybe it'd even be easy lol.

I *am* using vanilla so sounds like those factors aren't the problem.

It would be nice to see a screenshot of your problem if you want a real help.

Big necro here and obviously you've moved on by now but in case anyone stumbles on here searching for an answer, as did I - its caused by playing on a resolution anything higher than 1920x1080. As soon as I switched from 1440p to 1080p, the issue was fixed and did not happen again.

I tested it on the same mode (IA XL), same map (Hoth), same vehicle (AT-AT), and I couldn't recreate the problem after changing the resolution.
