  1. Delete the "SIDE" folder in the game files directory here:
    <Steam_Install_Folder>\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\Game Data\DATA\_LVL_PC\

    Default Steam install folder is
    C:\Program Files\Steam

(Refer to corresponding Steam Support article here.)

  2. Then verify the integrity of the game files (to reinstall the original, now-missing "SIDE" directory and its contents).

Its always a good idea to make backups of your SIDE folder, if not your whole folder, when putting mods in. After deleting it, you can do what R3troSim said and verify the integrity of the game files after deleting it. It'll reinstall any files missing. Or you can outright uninstall, delete the entire folder, and reinstall the game. Just remove any mods from the AddOn folder to your desktop and then throw them back in after installing. The downside to this is that you have to reinstall the unofficial 1.3 patch. Verifying the files is the easiest.
