Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)

2005 clans
So basically i was just looking to see if anyone here used to play the original back in the days and if they remember any of the clans from back then such as: 212th attack battalion, 97th Clone Squadron, CWC, Immortal and if they were in any of the clans back then

I myself was a long standing member of the 97th Clone Squadron (back then i went by the name Alpha726)

There's still some clans around. I've been in IGF (Imperial Ground Forces) since 2014 and we used to support BF2 2005. Currently we support the new BF2 (2017)
There's also CIO (another clan I'm in and currently the leader of) - Central Imperial Order.
CIO supports BF2 2005 and some other old games such as JK games as well as SWTOR and we also support BF 2015.

Thanks for the reply there IGF-SueKrueger13 but i was really looking to see if anyone played this back in 2005-2007 and if they remembered any of the old clans (such as the ones i listed in the op) or if they were members of such clans.

Hey! I used to play in that era an was part of [Immortal] for a while (at that time my IGN was Babylon) and later also =[TKF]= - The Kamino Freaks (where my IGN was AndreW) cool to reminisce those days and I surely some teams you talk about, 212th, CWC, not entirely sure in my mind about 97th, but damn it's nostalgic talking about that era :)

Babylon, that is a name that i recognize, i believe during my short stay in CWC (IGN was Gamma38) i believe we had a few clan wars against Immortal that you were a part of

Most of the older IGF members have played during that time - IGF was founded in 1999, actually.
So, chances are, you might know quite a few of us :)

I think I remember IGF. I might have met someone from the clan sometime in 2009-2012, when I was most active.

I was the leader of a small-scale BF2 2005 clan called -=AF=-. We mostly kept to ourselves and were decently chummy with =FGR= (which is apparently still kicking?). We retired the clan from official service a couple of years ago.

Nice :)

Well, if you or anyone is ever interested in checking out IGF just to check who's still around, here's the site:

I may have seen your clan before, sometime in 2014 but I'm not sure

If the clan has been around since then there is quite the chance i do know some of your members. some of the clan may even have been in other clans that were disbanded at the end of the classic BF2 life, and who knows maybe even some of them were in the 97th with me back then

Feel free to check IGF and DJO (the main website community) on Discord also, if you have that

http://discord.me/IGF
http://discord.me/DJO

You might find some people on there that you might recognize.
Even if not, you're always welcome to be on the discord channels :)

I was part of a team in an unofficial league that was created back in the day. I remember teams like Order 66 (or Order 360 as they were known to others since that was when the 360 was released), The Red Eyed Jedi, etc.

Hey Alpha! This is old Commander Cody speaking... It is such a relief to see the 97th Clone Squadron hasn't been forgotten. Hit me up on Steam if you want to talk, I'd love to have a chat about the old days!
