Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)

Single-player campaign - Naboo mission
I picked this up recently because I enjoyed playing the multiplayer with a friend way back in middle school, and when they re-launched the servers, I figured "might as well give the single-player a try too".

Some of the missions have felt like a weird difficulty spike, but I've been stuck on Naboo for about a dozen tries now. I get through the first 2/3rds of the mission fine; my issue is with killing the Jedi. They're all over the damn place, and it seems like whenever I manage to track one down, I have to land two direct hits on them (because somehow they can deflect the first one with a lightsaber) while also backing away and hoping they don't catch up to me.

It doesn't help that most of my reinforcements after destroying the turret grid seem to die within a minute or two. And then on the rare occasion that I manage to get the Queen out into the open, it's nearly impossible to get her on her own for enough shots without the 3-4 Jedi guarding her turning around and hunting me down.

Does anybody have any tips/suggestions, or does it just come down to luck/"git gud"?

Jus hop into one of the things that has like flowers surrounded by a small fence, the jedis wont come in with you, they'll just stand there near the object like a moron, then you just shoot them in their tacky faces.

Play the engi that shotgun is a doozy at just about any range plus you can retreat and heal yourself if you need to.

He's specifically having trouble with Jedi, so healing isn't much of an option because you're going to die if a Jedi hits you 90% of the time. Though I ageee that the Egineer class would be the way to go, primarily due to detpacks.

Sorry I rejected/ignored your friend request - I did that before I saw this. That sounds good, though, so can you add me again?

Doesn't the Shock/Heavy class have detpacks too, though? (Maybe not as many as the Engineers.)

Either you use the engineer, shock trooper or if you're skilled enough to aim use the sniper.

All right, I somehow pulled it off using an engineer - I died and lost all my reinforcements, but I think the Queen died just before that.

Thanks for the tips, everyone!
