Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)

I love playing as the CIS droids.
each time i win a battle i imagine the alien creators praising the experimental programming they put into that one droid that allowed it to act differentially to its others.

my favourite thing to do of all is play as the engineer class droid since thats one droid that can survive most fights if it manages to escape danger then repair some healing droids or throw health/ammo packs.

and if im fortunate enough to find the final clone trooper i charge up it and double tap m2 to throw a detpack then explode it as soon as possiable to ensure the destruction of the final clone.

my other favoruite tactic to do is splice into a vehicle as engineer to get the vehicle technician perk allowing any vehicles im in to slowly regen health like in space battles.. I'd then steal a clone trooper AT-RT. that scout walking mech that shoots powerful lasers and fires impact thermal detonators.
Every time i land on coruscant thats my main game plan.
a robot droid that really shouldn't know how to work this walking mech walking powerfully across a battlefield killing clones.

All the basic classes are pretty much the same except the special 2. And the perks don't really do much unless you have them at Legendary. The only difference with Droids is that they can survive in space on Polis Masa.

I enjoy that as well....for some reason they tend to take a bit of damage...you'll hear them mumbling some pain sounds then they stop taking damage. maybe its the fact being exposed to sudden hard vacuum or the sudden shock change in tempature has some effect on some systems.
.
or more reaslistically the games script speed is slow to react keeping up with +30 AI characters on a map and finally has a change to check you're a droid. :P

All my career options are Legendary. I've walked outside and did hear the sounds of suffocation but no health loss (or the regen taking place).

32 on that map is fun. The side that captures 3 spawns in the vehicle bay and i love just ambushing the troopers that come from 2 with landmines and grenades.

It is ironic that the side that sucks the most is the one that doesn’t breathe.
