EA Battlefront 2 - Extremley long loading times

I'm using the Steam Community because the EA forums are basically non existant and have never seen a single thread about this issue but many other have this same problem.

Anyways, My issue if that every time i join a match, I get an obnoxiously long loading time (~2-5 minutes)
It is always "Optimising Shaders" then proceeds to load for that long time.

My PC meets the requirements and worked just as fine before.


Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

This is where we thrive. While EA fishes for money.

Install the game on a ssd but the game will still have loading times up to 1 minute. Thats the suffer of matchmaking games without a server browser

Try doing a repair (on your library, you should see repair as an option when you choose the game).

Fixed it. Apparently Dx12 was enabled and that caused it.

Graphics dont matter when it comes to gameplay. The reason there is still a bit high playerbase here is because of the fact that this game is so good, it is centerpiece for the true Star Wars Fans.

just delete battlefront ea 2 that will solve the problem
