can the fusion cutter build things?

because i both saw jawas in mos eisly make turrets with them plus i half read a tip about the fusion cutter making things but couldnt read the rest so i didnt learn how to. how do you do it and what key is it and why is the game and everyone just hiding how to do it?

yes but this is more like repairing then building so is it possible to build things? anywhere? turrets , barricades?

Turrets and bots in their designeted place. No random building like in Fortnite or Minecraft.

The Fusion cutter can repair tanks, turrets (sniper turrets, other turrets), walkers (such as the AT-AT and AT-ST), ships (in space mode), ship parts (in space mode. Such as the engines, life support, turret defense system, shields), in Hoth you can repair the shield generator, etc. You can also approach an enemy tank/walker/ship and slice the vehicle, causing the enemy to leave the vehicle.

What you're talking about is repairing turrets, from the description you posted.

I've marked the turret places in Coruscant. You will find something on the ground that looks somewhat like a box.
Get close to it and use your fusion cutter.
Click the firing button and you will see a spark on your fusion cutter. At the top of the screen, you'll also see a small bar.
Once full, the turret will appear in front of you.

The closest thing to a turret you can have anywhere is the automated thing sniper classes get, I forget it's exact name. Regardless of what it's called, it's not that good as far as I've seen, best use you can probably get out of it is listening for it firing at people near you if you're scoped in so you can respond.

Auto turret. However, he's talking about the other turrets on the maps.
