Rent a server / dedicated servers NEED on Steam/GOG

GOG company is about 300 meters near me (my house). I will visit them in days and tell about this game his history. I can see on steam MP/ GOG mp over 100 player per every night with dedicated servers we could have like in 2014/2015. This is possible. What do you think about this?

The current dedicated servers you see are actually only pseudo dedicated. That just means they have more control than self hosted games but are technically not dedicated and aren't being ran via server manager. It's also a pretty complicated setup due to all the programs and tools involved in the setup process. Not to mention the server can freeze if too many (over 30) people join the server at once.

Is it hard to unite old gamespy system with new one GOG/steam ? and create a website with rental system servers or give someone a license to hosting servers?

It's not possible if you want both server lists to exist together.

They're already working on tools for dedicated servers but their team is pretty small so it's taking a while
