Go to your game's root folder. In Steam, it is usually found at C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\. For the disc version of the game, I think it will be found underneath the Lucas Arts folder in Program Files (x86)?
Go down to the SaveGames folder underneath GameData, and you will see a bunch of files with names matching the profiles in the game.
Copy the profile you want, and then go to your steam version's root folder and go down again to the SaveGames folder, and paste the folder.
That should import your profile into the steam version.
Also, I don't have the steam version, I'm just trying to transfer data from one pc to another with the same disc.
Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > LucusArts > Star Wars Battlefront II > GameData
"Activity in %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMFILES(X64)% and %WINDIR% is redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later for unprivileged programs"
So, perhaps try enabling Admin permissions, show hidden files and folders, and see if it's in your LOCALAPPDATA folder. Use a search engine to search how to do these things if you don't know, or find a knowledgeable adult if necessary.
I've never used the CD-ROM version, or Vista, so I'm spitballing here.
One more thing you can try is running a search in computer for the profile name itself. If you get a result, right-click it and choose "Open Folder Location" or some such.
