Help: Transferring Stats
So I recently got a new laptop, and I have all legendary stats for battlefront 2 (disc) on my old pc. Is there any way to transfer the stats to my new laptop when I install battlefront 2? I don't want to have to go through the process of getting all the award weapons again. Thanks guys.

I think all you need to do is migrate your user profile from your disc based install to the steam version. This will be pretty easy.

Go to your game's root folder. In Steam, it is usually found at C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\. For the disc version of the game, I think it will be found underneath the Lucas Arts folder in Program Files (x86)?

Go down to the SaveGames folder underneath GameData, and you will see a bunch of files with names matching the profiles in the game.

Copy the profile you want, and then go to your steam version's root folder and go down again to the SaveGames folder, and paste the folder.

That should import your profile into the steam version.

See that's what I thought I could do, and I took the regular path Program Files (x86), LucasArts, Star Wars Battlefront II, Game Data, but the saved games folder with my profile is nowhere to be seen. The game data folder leads to nothing and the other two folders in BII are install and movies which also lead to nothing.

Also, I don't have the steam version, I'm just trying to transfer data from one pc to another with the same disc.

I did not. Any ideas of where it might be?

The folder should be at

Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > LucusArts > Star Wars Battlefront II > GameData

Like I said, when I went into that folder, I could not find anything to do with a saved games folder or my profile name

Well, it could be saved in mygames in your documents folder, have you checked there already?

If you're talking about the one under Documents, then yes I have checked, nothing there except for Civ V

Have you checked in all your battlefront 2 related folders? The main battlefront 2 folder for example? It should exist. I'm not sure why it doesn't show up for you.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. I can't find my save game folder anywhere.
I found this online. Idk what OS you have, but it applies to Vista, and maybe XP and earlier, but not Win7 or later:
"Activity in %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMFILES(X64)% and %WINDIR% is redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later for unprivileged programs"

So, perhaps try enabling Admin permissions, show hidden files and folders, and see if it's in your LOCALAPPDATA folder. Use a search engine to search how to do these things if you don't know, or find a knowledgeable adult if necessary.

I've never used the CD-ROM version, or Vista, so I'm spitballing here.

One more thing you can try is running a search in computer for the profile name itself. If you get a result, right-click it and choose "Open Folder Location" or some such.
