Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005)

Where are the voice files?
So, I'd like to create a mod for a different game (specifically XCOM 2) using the republic voice lines from this game. Does anybody happen to know where the voice files are so I can copy them? I'm having trouble finding them.

Is there a way to open the lvl or bnk files to see if I can find the sounds inside (I'm assuming that's where they are)?

Dunno if you already given up or were successfull in finding them, but the only way to get the voice files is ripping them from the PS2 version. Check this forum for details on how to do it yourself, including download links to the voice files (Battlefront I too) http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=28297&sid=53d6af5b3a8332007bffae820cceff41&start=40

As for the PC version, there should be in the same file as the PS2 version, the Global.lvl file, but so far, I havent been able to play the individual tracks. Also, the common.bnk is not a bnk file, but a lvl file (tho it might be they are related, anyway the point is that it does not have a BNK header) and also, it only contains sounds from what i've gathered (lightsaber noises, guns, etc). all the voices are extracted from the Global.lvl file.

You could also try the official mod tools released for BFII by Visceral. http://gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13806
