Can't install the Conversion Pack at all!
Decided to add the newest 2.0 version of the Convo Pack, ran the installer, put the correct steam directory path, waited until it's installed...

And then I get an Administrator message saying this:

_________________________________________________________

Checking Windows XP
ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value
Checking Windows Vista 32bit
ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value
Checking Windows Vista 64bit
ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value
You should have two registry key errors above this line. You can safly ignore them.

WARNING - Safty check failed:
"BattlefrontII.exe=BattlefrontII.exe" does not exist

Halting to prevent possible folder damage

Press any key to continue...
__________________________________________________________

At first I tried renaming the BattlefrontII exe file into BattlefrontII.exe - didn't work.
I tried using compatibility mode for Windows 7 and Vista (the default was Windows 8) - still didn't work.

What in the name of the Force should I do now to get this running?

Can't install the 1.3 patch - for some reason the installer can't find the game even though I set it on the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II.

Try removing any forward or backward slashes or periods at the end of the file path

That's happened to me before. That's because you most likely installed the 2.2 patch before the 2.0. This is like the only mod where that doesn't work. You need the 2.0 completed first, and then you can install the 2.2.

The guide on my profile includes both 2.0 and 2.2 in one download.

There's nothing at the end of the file path after Star Wars Battlefront II. The patch still can't find the game -_-

Don't know what you're exactly talking about - is it the 1.3 patch or something else?

The conversion pack on moddb has a 2.0 and a 2.2 version. You can't install the 2.2 version first, you have to do it over and install the 2.0 version, then the 2.2. Or use William's guide that does both for you.

Install this first https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-battlefront-conversion-pack/downloads/star-wars-battlefront-conversion-pack-v20

Then install this one, not the other way around. https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-battlefront-conversion-pack/downloads/star-wars-battlefront-conversion-pack-v22-patch

It's also not the 1.3 patch

The problem is that I didn't install the 2.2 version at all - haven't even touched the thing.
