How do I update to patch 1.3

I did some googling and I downloaded 1.3 r129 and I followed the steps to install it. I launched the game but it still says 1.1 and the main menu is this weird gray menu that I never saw before when I played this on PS2

Did I do something wrong?

And just keep in mind that the game does not change its number to v1.3, if you download the HD Interface mod then it would do that with other menu fixes. Make sure you install to your Battlefront II folder and you'll know it worked when you see a folder called "addon" with another folder in it called AAA-v1.3patch

How do i download it i have only modded once before and still new to it.

Press the download button on moddb, go to your battlefront 2 game and extract the v1.3 patch anywhere, it will install it for you all you have to do is select your battlefront 2 folder
