Black Screen selecting Classes (Sniper and others)

I am only able to select 3 classes, if I pick a class like Sniper the screen goes black (game does not freeze). I have changed resolutions and that hasn't fixed it.

I am running in /win.

Help!

I found a fix :D

TL;DR - Disable Discord Overlay for Battlefront II (2005)

Turns out that Discord Overlay causes issue with this old game, disabling the discord overlay fixed the issue. I can use window mode + all resolutions with no issues.

Huh. Nice. I never had any issues with the discord overlay when playing this game, though I've heard some people do. Still, nice to know you got it fixed :)

Definitely a life saver, looked through forums up and down an no one seemed to have this issue. I don't have to refund the game, yaaay.
