Trying to use the Star Wars: Battlefront II v1.1 Dedicated Server....

Hey all!

I'm attempting to use the old Star Wars: Battlefront II v1.1 Dedicated Server files from ModDB but not sure if this will work or not. I've been seeing that this may point to the old gamespy/gameranger servers but would like some clarification if anyone can provide any.

Yes i have my own server im able to set this up on but its not showing in the game list which is why im thinking its the ladder. Any ideas would be helpful!

It won't work with the new masterserver. However, I did send a support ticket to GoG (the company responsible for reviving multiplayer) about fixing this issue.

No problem. I want the same thing. if all else fails the modding community websites (gametoast.com and swbfgamers.com) will look into trying to set it up themselves

Star Wars: Battlefront II v1.2 patch

Star Wars Battlefront II Dedicated Server 1.2 File

This is the Server Application that is necessary to HOST games for the Version 1.2 game update. This version has the original Server Interface for basic functionality along with a fully functional, more robust Server Manager System. The more Robust v A Star Wars: Battlefront II PC dedicated server updating the server for the shooter sequel to version 1.2.

New heroes

Kit Fisto: A Republic hero who is stronger and more bulky than most of the other heroes. His powers include Saber Throw, Force Water Orb and Force Destruction.

Asajj Ventress: A villainess who has fiber-cord linked lightsabers and is the CIS answer to Aayla Secura. Her powers are Starblades and Force Push.

Anakin Skywalker: While not actually a new hero, Anakin can be played on the Republic for the first time outside of the campaign. This Anakin is before his descent to the dark side and can only be played on the Yavin 4 Arena map. He has all the same abilities as the Imperial Anakin.

Bespin: Cloud City
Yavin 4: Arena
Rhen Var: Harbor
Rhen Var: Citadel


NOTE: These maps are from the first game and, along with the Kashyyyk: Beachhead,Coruscant, Mygeeto, and Naboo. maps, can be played in Hero Assault mode.

New modes
Rhen Var: Harbor – Wampa Hunt
Wampas (claws) vs. Rebels (All Types)
