Menu continuously scrolling
This is the first time that I've started playing PC games, so I'm still getting the hang of everything. For some reason, the menu will bug out and continuously scroll, causing me to play Russian Roulette while trying to select the right option. Is there any known fix to this or is it just a glitch that we have to live with?
Thank you for any responses, in advanced.

The same thing happens to me. I just restart the game and it then stops

Are you using a controller? Try going into options and increasing the dead zone setting for the joysticks.

I'm using a keyboard and touchpad. I'll be receiving my gaming mouse in a week or two.
I'm also on laptop, and based on the forum posts I've read, I think this problem is unique to laptop users. I was FINALLY able to solve the issue today--it was my freaking trackpad causing the endless scrolling.

If you have an external mouse, you can go into your PC settings (specifically Bluetooth & Devices on Windows 11) and make sure "Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected" is not active. (AFAIK this setting is on by default.) I played all afternoon with no menu scrolling!

I know that this thread is several years old, but I found out last night the reason why this is happening. My menu began continuously scrolling while I was setting up my Xbox controls in me options menu. I used two fingers on the touchpad in order to scroll down and that, I believe, caused the menus to start nonstop scrolling. If you have your controller on before you open SWBF2 then you can use the joystick as a mouse to navigate the menus, so it’s probably best to just avoid touching the touchpad altogether if you’re planning on connecting a controller.
This needs fixed
