Why Battle Points Are A Good Idea
I, like most people, was very disappointed by EA's Star Wars: Battlefront in 2015. The gameplay was unfinished and the game had barely anymore content than the open beta. EA's Star Wars: Battlefront II seems to have fixed the flaws of its predecessor. There are three eras, possible cross-era play, a story mode, and the class system is back. There seems to be one thing that is having mixed reactions. EA has implemented a new system called battle points. Battle points can be earned by gaining kills, capturing objectives, and working in a group. These points can be used to switch to a vehicle, change to a more powerful class, and become a hero. This is definitely better than the hero system in the 2015 battlefront, which required players to get hero pickups to become a hero. No skill was required to become a hero, and few players got the chance to be one due to other players camping where the pickups spawned. This means that actually skilled players will be the ones becoming heroes. The vehicle changing is where many gamers are debating. Many prefer the system of the original games, where you could find a vehicle and jump into it. I disagree. I have over 70 hours in the original Battlefront II, and there was always the problem of teammates jumping into a vehicle you wanted. Then you had to wait for the vehicle you wanted to spawn in before you could drive it. This also meant only a limited amount of people had access to vehicles. Trust me, this change is for the better.

Never really had the problem of spawncamping vehicle spawns tbh.
What's really strange is that the recent Battlefield games there is vehicle spawns and they run on the same Frostbite engine as EA's.....things that they dare call Battlefront.

So is there any one who thought battlepoints suck enough to warrant op to write this extrmely long post about a popular opinion?

They are.Someone will buy a game for 80-150 $ or € during first days and later for 40-100 $/€ they are grabing cash. Everytime not enough always they want more and use players not like people but like cash maschines....

CD Projekt Red, Cenega, for now Overkill for example too, doesn't have any micro transctions.Only DLC's but (CPR dlc are maybe not cheap bit giving fun for next 9-15 hours "Witcher 3".Cenega has done game Dying Light dlc like in Witcher not cheap but give fun.Overkill had done before lot DLC's but they were cheap) right now those dlc are avaible only on bundle but that bundle cost less than all DLC's before. So they dont need anymore..Its cash grab

Battle points are actually a good idea. It's a shame they're really just reusing the last game's mechanics and sticking in (despite this stuff being what the general community asked for) new skins and pretty colors.
battle points are a awful idea instead of the vehicle spawning you have to buy them from a shop
its like oh there a war going on let me go to a dealer ship and buy a tank it makes no sense and also now people will just camp spawns for battle points

Would you rather they camp at a random point for a floating ball of light?
