I see. Not quite sure why it won't run on your laptop. Did you try to check Lucasarts folder to see if there's anything there?
The path to it should be
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II
Once you find it, go to GameData and the BattlefrontII.exe should be there. Click on it to see if it launches.
(Windows 10) The same issue can occur if the "Stereo Mix" device is not enabled on the Recording Tab of "Sound" Windows Control Panel applet. Then it gives me a link to the documentation. I wish I could post a screenshot for you to see.
DVD RW DRIVE (E:)
Go to
E:\GameData
Then find (the application)
SetupBF2
Then follow the setup process and I should be fine.
I'll give you an update how that goes.
