Ultimate Pack 5.1
So I've seen a lot of people wanting to know where the Ultimate Pack went, specifically mentioning 4.5. I was happy to find the official website that now has version 5.1 ready to download.

https://swsaga.ru/

Now I have some quesitons about it directed towards those who have used previous versions. First, how compatible is this multiplayer wise? Can I play with others on the stock maps without issues? Second, does this mod keep the stock sides? Third, how compatible is it with other mods that add eras like Mass Effect Unification or add eras to maps already inside such as Galactic Civil War II adding an era to Marvel's Conversion Pack?

Thanks and enjoy!

1) You can play online with other users that don't have the Pack with no problems.
2) It keeps the stock sides and revises them with Battlefront: Evolved.
3) Pretty compatible

I hope that helped.

Wow that was fast! Thanks. I was hoping the stock sides weren't changed so that I could use the In-Game Skin Changer Mod with it.

One more question. I was watching a video of the insatllation and was curious as to what the "Use stability improvements" and "enable compatiblility mode" options were. I assume the compatibility mode puts it in Windows XP SP3, but what are the stability improvements? Does it help with the crashing, becuase this game crashes a lot for me even with stereo mix, two cores, etc...

if you are getting crashes:

try these:

http://steamcommunity.com/app/6060/guides/?searchText=crash+fix&browsefilter=trend&requiredtags%5B%5D=-1#scrollTop=0

for Windows 10:

set resolution to MAX and make sure anti-aliasing is off

other things you can try:

if you have a black screen, try this: http://prntscr.com/8288sp -http://oi65.tinypic.com/33m0x3d.jpg (screenshot)

enable stereo mix

How to Enable Stereo Mix:
Start > Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab > If you don't see Stereo Mix, right click and select Show Disabled Devices > Enable Stereo Mix
(If you still don't see Stereo Mix, try to plug in a mic and enable it)
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/39532/how-to-enable-stereo-mix-in-windows-7-to-record-audio/
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+enable+stereo+mix&client=aff-maxthon-maxthon4&channel=t28&gws_rd=ssl

if plugging in a mic or headphones into the mic port does not make Stereo Mix show up, try downloading:
https://www.google.ca/search?site=&source=hp&q=stereo+mix+download&oq=stereo+mix+download&gs_l=hp.3..0l9.2880.7537.0.7660.23.16.2.5.5.0.122.1212.14j2.16.0....0...1c.1.64.hp..0.23.1224...0i131j0i10j0i3.WjTPLCJ_DpA

run as admin;
go to right click on the entire SWBF2 folder (located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common) and going to:
Properties > Security > Edit > Choose your User > give it full permissions by clicking the Allow on everything there > Apply. > Advanced > Add Permissions if you like > at the top change OWNER to your main User. > hit Apply. > then go back to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common > click SWBF2 > GameData > right click on SWBF2 > at the top it should say Run as Administrator, try to run it that way, if that doesn't help, right click again > go to Properties > Compatibility > Run the program in Compatibility Mode. In Security make sure you have admin rights there also, simply go to security and check. click Edit to change Permissions, click Advanced to change Owner and more Permissions just like before with the SWBF2 folder.

delete vidmode

(vidmode is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC )

plug something into microphone port

if your game only crashes on a certain map, go to: Library > right click SWBF2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Game Cache
(this removes mods, etc btw if you have any)

if your game crashes on a modded map/etc uninstall it and reinstall.

Yea I have tried all of those suggestions and I still get occasional crashes from going from one map to the next, especially when going from one modded map to another or a modded map to vanilla. I have a mic in, I enabled stereo mix, I run the game XP Service 3, I use two cores, and I have deleated/reinstalled numerous mods and the vidmode file.

Is this easy installation? Or complicated (especially for uninstalling)
IsannKeket Jul 21, 2018 @ 5:11pm
Hey, since swsaga.ru is gone now, do you know where I could get 5.1? Thanks!
Wesleypipes77 Jul 21, 2018 @ 5:46pm
Ohhh no the link is dead or the website is down! This exactly what I was waiting for before I jumped back in to SWBF. Anybody know where else we can get this?
titanbass1 Jul 28, 2018 @ 4:30pm
That is actually a good question...the website and discord are down...
Elementus Jul 28, 2018 @ 5:32pm
This is dissapointing, it was a very good mod pack to use
titanbass1 Jul 28, 2018 @ 6:37pm
I wouldn't be surprised if it got shut down, but if anyone knows what happened, it would be nice to know.

Here's a working download of the Ultimate pack. It's a bit of an older version, but still works.
